How Education can Make or Break Your Career

It’s true that not all people receive good education. In fact, there are some people who don’t get education at all. This may be caused by poverty, geographical barriers, physical and mental conditions, and many others. But no matter what hindrance life may pose, there are still some people who greatly desire to be educated so that they can have a bright future ahead of them.

In fact, individuals who graduated from well-known schools and universities get better and more profitable jobs as compared to those who just graduated from ordinary institutions or those who didn’t graduate at all. But it’s also important to consider the abilities of an individual. Even if he didn’t study in a prestigious school, if he graduated top of his class, then isn’t he worth commending?

These are some of the criteria that different companies use to choose which applicant they will be hiring. A graduate from Stanford? The valedictorian of Penn State? One who took master’s in UC Berkeley? Depending on the requirements that the company needs and the qualifications of the applicant, the educational background can dictate whether or not he will be able to get a good job.
